After finishing my international Baccalaureate (IB) studies, I graduated from the university of Toronto with a major in human biology, a minor in psychology and a minor in French. Then, I completed my Masters degree in Counselling psychology from Yorkville university.

Five years ago, I began serving in orphanages in Kenya and later in prisons, where I saw firsthand how one genuine interaction could bring hope. Without offering material help, I learned that presence, care, and deep listening could be profoundly healing. I spent time with single mothers who were neglected or widowed, teens who were abandoned by their parents, and young people who survived abuse within their families. These experiences changed me and gave me purpose. They led me to psychotherapy, where I could dedicate myself to walking alongside people in pain.

As a therapist, I meet you where you are to help you with what you are struggling with in life. You do not deserve to be alone. Why go through it alone if you have a helping hand desiring to accompany you on your journey? My role is to listen with curiosity and compassion, to understand your unique story, and to help you build tools for healing, growth, and resilience. I believe that therapy is not about fixing you, but about creating a safe space where you can feel seen, valued, and supported.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, supporting individuals, couples, and families. Some of the issues I work with include anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, trauma, grief, family conflict, identity, body image, substance use, and relationship challenges. I also integrate faith and spirituality into therapy when it feels important to the client.

My approach is flexible and personalized to your needs. I draw on a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Adlerian Therapy, Existential Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Relational Therapy, and Christian Counselling. Together, we will find the approach that best supports you.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming. I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative and non-judgmental environment where you can explore life’s challenges at your own pace while building on your unique strengths. I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling and Spirituality at Saint Paul University, where I am training in individual psychotherapy under clinical supervision. I provide counselling to a diverse population at the Saint Paul University Counselling Centre and have experience supporting individuals in crisis through my work as a Crisis Line Responder with the Distress Centre of Ottawa. I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, adults and elderly experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, emotional regulation difficulties, personality/mood disorders, identity exploration and burnout. I also welcome clients navigating cultural identity, family dynamics, academic/career stress and those simply looking to better understand themselves and grow. My approach is integrative and tailored to each individual’s needs. I draw from person-centred, strengths-based, mindfulness and emotion-focused approaches while recognizing that every person’s story is unique. I value authenticity, curiosity and building a strong therapeutic relationship. I believe meaningful change begins when clients feel safe enough to be themselves. Outside of the therapy room, I value creativity, lifelong learning and finding balance through exercise, music, cinema and spending time with the people who matter most. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges, celebrate their successes and work toward creating a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
